Your God

I heard this quote last night while Cliff and I were listening to an Anthony Mangun sermon and it really just kind of hit me...

"Be careful what you chase, be sure it's good enough to be your God. Be sure it can heal you when your sick, and the doctor says there's no hope. When you're dying make sure it can raise you up. Make sure when your children are in trouble, whatever you've been chasing, or have made your God can deliver your children. Remember whatever God you're chasing is the God that's coming back to get you"-G A Mangun

I know there are some people who don't believe in the Lord, but even those of us who do can so easily put other things before Him. Anything put ahead of him is our God. This quote was a great reminder of who the one, true God is! I always want to be chasing after him.

"But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul." Deuteronomy 4:29
