The Craziness Begins...

So, I started school last Thursday and I love it! =) I was a little shocked though that EVERY teacher gave me homework on the first day! Who in the world thought of that bright idea I'll never know! Needless to say this is the first chance to sit down and write about anything! I am really loving all my classes except for physical science and geography of course lol the two sciences! It is all so boring to me...but I am sure I'll make it though! That is really all that I have been doing lately is going to school, work, church, and home the last few weeks! I have never had so much homework since I have been in college and I have only had a week and a half worth of classes! I am gonna need to be MAJORLY focused this semester, I can already tell!

I am so excited about next Saturday though!!!! A) It's my 21st Birthday! and B) Rachel Anderson flies into Jackson at 12:24pm for a Rachel/Sheena Birthday weekend extravaganza!! It's going to be craziness all weekend! Cliff has already informed me that college football starts that day so me and Rachel better take it somewhere else since as he says "you are ridiculous together"! haha so we are trying to take the party to New Orleans! I am trying to work it all out to go on the Monday after my birthday but we shall see! Don't worry everybody! There won't be any real partying in New Orleans for the newly 21 yr old =) Unless you count a concert on the river, live acrobats and theatrical performances next to Cafe Du Mont, fabulous shopping, and delicious meals at cute little hole in the wall cafes!! Honestly, whoever said they could feel the evil spirits as they crossed the bridge into New Orleans were way more "spiritual" than I ever wanna be! I love it there!! Every town has it's crazies and nut jobs right? HA! But that's all for now ! We are having dinner with Lynette and her family then weare taking the youth bowling tonight from 11-2am so I have to go get ready! I am going to be dead tomorrow! Thank the Lord tomorrow is Saturday!

PS. Happy Birthday tomorrow Aunt Frieda! Love you and wish I was there! =)

Happy Happy!

So we have a ton of catching up to do! Since I last blogged Destined08 came and went and so did our trip to the Commune-ity Meeting in Cincinatti! Also, BMG asked me to stay changed my position and downgraded my job so I have way less responsibility! I know that sounds like a negative but it was actually the Lord answering prayer! As usual =)
Destined went perfectly! The singers and our music was incredible, Ryan did a FANTASTIC job (he preached "Destined Generation"), and the "Aftershock" after hours event was a blast with a 3-on-3 basketball tourney, pizza, a coffee shop, and music! All our hard work, especially Cliff's, definitely paid off! Cliff had everything SO, SO, SO, organized! Everything went off without a hitch and no one was asking any questions about what they had to do or where they were supposed to be! Cliff had iteniraries for everyone MCing and all the volunteers with their individual job responsiblities and duties haha it was rediculous...I don't think I have ever met a more organized person than my husband. I really wish I was more like him! We were so tired after our long weekend but it was great fun! Cliff had a lot of fun with Ryan and Jordan, so I was glad he got to have some guy time which he never gets!
We rode on a van with the MS district youth committee to the Commune-ity Meeting in Cincy and we really enjoyed ourselves. The ride there and back was aweful because there were 11 of us and our luggage in a 12 passenger van but we tried to make the best of it! The church paid our way to go which was great and we are so thankful because we wouldn't have been able to afford to go on our own! We had fun hanging out with a bunch of different Student Pastors and hearing some good preaching! Tim Rutledge did AMAZING! So did Nate Rios and Russ Cripps...they were great messages. Tim preached about the 3 temptations of youth ministry Nate preached about having a vision, and Russ Cripps preached about love with no regrets! They were my 3 favorite and the 2 other speakers I honestly couldn't tell you anything else but their title! hehe Oops! =) The bad thing is that we had to put Elvis Presley in the Kennel and even though he loves it, I hate it! I need to find out what Hotels let shmuppies come along so we can take him everywhere!! He did however make a friend with a ginormous Great Dane named Rosie. It was the funniest thing she would just lay there and lick Elvis while he jumped all over her! It was the owner of the Kennels Great Dane and she told me that they just sold the last of her puppies last week and they were about the same size as elvis and some of them were black so she prolly thought that he was one of her pups! How sweet, except next time I don't think I want my baby mingling with other dogs...especially ones that could eat him for a snack in one bite!!! lol Even though Rosie was super sweet and stood up to give me a hug and lick my face! She was about 4 inches taller than me when she stoof on her hind legs! IKES!
Another really exciting thing is that I start school tomorrow! I am ready to get going and start getting some credits that actually matter under my belt! This semester I will be getting a 4.0! No more of this 3.8 buisness(at least taht is what I am praying!!!) ...Also Rachel Anderson is coming into town for my birthday on August 30th and I cannot wait!!! And my auntie Frieda got me the new iphone 3g...I can't wait to get that in the mail next week!! I know I am spoiled but oh well! haha =)
